Dennis D. Martin is Associate Professor of Theology at Loyola University in Chicago. He earned M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in history at the University of Waterloo (Canada). He was a Fulbright scholar at the University of Tübingen. He has published numerous books and essays including contributions to Theological Studies, Catholic Historical Review, and The Journal of the Historical Society.
