Burton L. Visotzky
Burton L. Visotzky is Appleman Professor of Midrash and Interreligious Studies at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. He earned his Ph.D. at that same institution. His eight books include The Genesis of Ethics and The Road to Redemption. Vizotzky worked with Bill Moyers on the ten-hour PBS series, "Genesis: A Living Conversation," released in 1996. He was also a consultant to Jeffrey Katzenberg of DreamWorks SKG for the 1998 film, "Prince of Egypt."
